CHANNEL 9 OBJECTS TO ORDER

WFTV-Channel 9 on Wednesday asked a state judge to reverse an order barring it and two other Orlando TV stations from releasing information they received about patients at Charter Hospital in Kissimmee. Although WFTV did not broadcast the information, it filed the objection citing First Amendment rights, said Jon Kaney, a lawyer representing the station. Charter Hospital sued WFTV, WESH-Channel 2, WCPX-Channel 6 and Jose Proenza-Sanfiel, who said that he would defy the court order.

Here we see some of the evidence that I did not release patient information. I had asked that my face or name not be shown. Equally the patient information was not to be made public either. As far as I know none of the TV Stations showed the information on the air. My wishes to blur it were followed.
What I had asked was that all the information be blurred as I had seen on TV before but was not aware that they were actually able to capture any images as I was trying to locate non confidential information to prove that the computer was indeed Charter's. The reporters demanded to see proof that it indeed it belonged to the hospital. I just wish I knew what in earth moved them to violate my trust and contact the patient's behind my back. I had warned them that this was confidential information. A couple of the stations did contact patient's and I know that two " patients " willingly did interviews with their identity protected. ( such patients have never come to light and it is questionable wether this was just a set up to spice the news some.) They have a good legal case of negligence. They sure are not distraught enough as to sue any one. Also as you will see on the hearing no one knows this for sure and no one is talking either.I said that I
would defy the order simply to the extent that I would not keep quiet about what was going on with me while they Big Boy's had the right to speak up. Especially since I was not spreading PRIVATE PATIENT INFORMATION.Webmaster's Comments.
