Nurse's license suspended
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration announced Friday that it is
prohibiting Jose N. Proenza-Sanfiel from practicing nursing. The Osceola County man, who is a registered nurse, is accused of violating the confidentiality of patients at Charter Hospital Orlando South. The psychiatric hospital in Kissimmee sued Proenza-Sanfiel Monday for sharing patient records with three Orlando television stations. Proenza-Sanfiel said he found the files on a computer he bought at a thrift shop. The agency's order suspending his nurse's license states that Proenza-Sanfiel refused to turn in the patient records.Webmaster's Commentary.
This a fair reporting of the story but still has a bit of
Slantinal in it since the newspaper folks were not there when the files " were shared ".This is the beginning also of the saga with the
AHCA and the abuse of their power's. I did not do anything while on duty as a Nurse and my actions even though questionable at this time were non life threatening or violent to any one also this should be a warning flag to all NURSES just because you are suspected of something they can pull your license...so there you might be proven innocent at the end but if you do not cooperate we will make you go hungry....and blemish your record.... ( this is not a suspension with pay folk's ) this is a you can not work any more cause we don't want you to.Please do note that
I did refused to hand over Computer "Records" since that was my personal property....and the thing that scared me the most was what I was told.....give it back to Charter...or give it to us so that we can give it back to Charter........ Hello.....Hello...??....Just how was the Government supposed to prove the Case of fraud and I the act of negligence as a patient advocate if I was to put the chicken in with the fox...??There is more to this abuse of power in other section's please follow the Hyperlinks and you will get the whole picture of how Arrogant and abusive our Government is getting when dealing with its boss ( the Tax- Payer )
