1. I purchased a computer on a second hand shop in Osceola County.

( Legal ownership and acquirement of it declared by 9^th District court Orlando. Judge Adams )

There had been an allegation that may have obtained it or the data illegally this is being used by some in order not to cover the story.

 

2. The computer contained on its hard drive all type of information regarding the running of a local Psychiatric hospital ( Charter of Orlando South ) along with private and confidential information about patients of that facility.

( This hospital was being investigated and is on federal court for Bilking Medicaid and Medicare fraud to the tune of millions in taxpayers money District court case USA v/s Charter Hospital # 941170-CIV-ORL-22 Middle District of Florida).

 

3. Knowing this exercising my duties as a law-abiding citizen I contacted local law enforcement agencies and due to lack of jurisdiction etc, I had to follow a blind bureaucratic path to no whereas. Tired of the run around I contacted the local news media to report both the lack of action against physical evidence in an

" Alleged crime " and the blatant disregard to patient confidentiality. All three major news aired the story.

 

4. The story was to be done with animosity as to source ( me ) and no patient information was to be used due to the privacy entitled to them. The violation of their privacy by the hospital was a concern already. This was agreed to and accepted by the news crew.

 

4. A reporter Greg Fox from WESH-2 used his contacts and located a government official that " had jurisdiction" and was willing to " get involved ". I identified my self fully to this person since I had no reason to believe that there was no wrong doing in my part. ( Little did I know ). This person after securing my information proceeded to tell me to return the computer to the hospital. I questioned the wisdom of giving evidence to " the criminal ". I was instructed then to give the computer to this official so that it could be returned to the hospital ( same thing ) so request was denied. This Official then threatened to suspend my nursing license if I did not obliged to her wishes. Communication was ended at this time due to threats.

 

5. The bureaucrat that I dared say no to began the wheels of retaliation against my person. My nurses license was suspended in an emergency order and investigation against both my spouse and me were launched ( spouse is a nurse also but had no involvement on the matter ) But the attack was meant to show power. 

 

6. The hospital and the News stations decided to cooperate with each other whereas the news people that fueled the fire suddenly alienated themselves from me and refused to cover the story any longer such attitude remains to date. The hospital then began to attack me personally trough the court system. At the same time the powers of the state also were unleashed against me.

 

7. The Agency of Health Care Administration ( AHCA ), The Department of Health ( DOH ), The Board of Nursing ( BON ). Have been using laws that do not apply to me or my actions and should have never been implemented However when a monster like this begins its hunt the prey must be killed regardless of the scent having been crossed.

 

8. I have fallen trough the crack's of every known method of legal assistance available. I either made too much money being a nurse ( but not working now thanks to " the system " and making none ) too poor to hire a personal attorney, not a member of nurses organizations, not fitting the guidelines of " Public defense by advocate groups " , the tax-payer advocates have ignored my pleas, the patient advocate groups want to use my case only if I give up all rights to it and they use it for their own " questionable ends " or without my input.

 As a taxpayer and conscientious Nurse I discovered a wrong against " the people and patients " of the state of Florida. I dared to be concerned becoming involved. The law enforcement agencies failed to act due to " jurisdictional factors ". The journalists involved started on story and trough questionable ethical principles of journalism plus legal intimidation by corporate lawyers backed off to cover their behinds. The state encountered a piss-ant that embarrassed their " Public safety net " and dared to challenge them on it so it was decided to squash the little bug. In that fashion non applicable laws and questionable practices were brought to deal with the problem disregarding their primary duties to protect the " state coffers " and the " public-patients " of the state of Florida.

The people of our state are getting the short end of the stick here. The agencies entrusted to protect them has failed in doing so, the taxpayers coffers continue to be raped by a for profit entity, the patients privacy violated trough criminal negligence have not been warned or defended. The state agencies have blatantly violated my rights as a citizen by forcefully trying to quiet my dissenting voice at the same time sending a message to other Nurses or citizens that dare to challenge " the system ".

 Depotism and anarchy begin by the silencing of one then you are next. Failure of Journalism to break this yoke will surely lead to continued abuse by " the powers to be "

 I need assistance badly in making my plight known and in legal representation on behalf of the patients and citizens of our nation. My life and career have been ruined for caring about you. I need you now. I need help badly. I plead for your assistance.

There is nothing than both " The State " and Charter hospital would like than for me to try to blame the Journalists and become adversaries with them. I will not do so I have a very deep believe that it is FREEDOM of the Press that keeps us a free nation and that is what I'm appealing to. If they do not report all of these injustices then I'm sure that others that have Integrity and love for their profession will do so by speaking against them.
