 Please find attached information for News Story relating the above Subject’s.

The US Govt. is getting ready " to make a deal " with Charter Hospital regarding their Medicaid/Medicare fraud case ( Case # on Attach ).

Your article on Donna Shalala describing her great concern for " Patients Privacy and Fraud " quotes her great concern on this issue However; If you look at my situation you will see that the opposite is being done and the Tax-payers and patients will get the shaft with if this deal goes trough.

 Background of this issue:

 I bought a computer at a local thrift shop, the same contained all the data of Charter Hospital and also private data on their psychiatric Hospital. I’m a Registered Nurse and Veteran Activist. I knew that the Hospital was being investigated. I tried contacting Law enforcement agency’s from bottom to top but got the run around such as not my jurisdiction, We do not talk about ongoing investigations etc.....The computer has been on custody of the court ( Orlando ) for over 10 months and the US Govt. has been aware of it however no one has taken the time to go trough its content in order to gather evidence on the mentioned case......yet there is a deal to be made now.

If this does not sound like the reverse of what your article contained I do not know what does. Complete violation of patient confidentiality and fraud are wrapped up on this one computer yet no one is checking it out. Does this not sound like something to question ? Specially when noting that I have been personally persecuted for blowing the whistle on this issue.?

 Subj: URGENT ACTION NEEDED FROM YOUR OFFICE.....Regarding USG V/s Charter Hospital Fraudulent investigation Case # 94-1170-CIV-ORL-22

 Greetings;

If this Article is correct your office needs to look into this matter Immediately......since one of the branches of your Department is acting in what can be considered Gross Negligence ( Please see Attachment Letter to Reed Stevens Esq.

 The USG is said to get ready to make a deal with Charter Hospital without examining a computer that is in custody of the court....and has been for over 6 Months with knowledge of USG.

 The mentioned Computer was a negligent act by part of Charter hospital in Violation of Patient confidentiality and contains 20 Megabytes of information regarding all matters the running such Hospital. Due to the extent of the Millions of dollars in Fraud involved it appears that requesting and reviewing the information contained in this computer is imperative before any

" Deals " are made....it could be akin to trowing away Jack the Reaper’s Diary while he is on the loose i.e akin to gross negligence by public servants or worse some one " on the take ".

 This issue encompasses both of the concerns expressed by you in the Newspaper article however it seems that the actions of your Staff is not following with the sentiment expressed.

 Ma’m you being in charge of the Department and ultimately responsible for its actions will be caught with " Pie on the face " if this matter is not dealt with immediately and for such I place you in notice on behalf of the Taxpayers. Please act accordingly.

Subj: Disturbing thoughts regarding Case US Gov. v/s Charter Hospital and my computer.

Greetings;

Sir I ‘m disturbed at the fact that the USG has decided to ignore the direction of the 9th Judicial Court Judge John H Adams Sr. of taking possession of the computer at the Court’s Property Room containing Approximately 20 Megabytes of information on all of the affairs at that Hospital.

 The above computer is still available and the closing of this case without such evidence being reviewed by the state are as perturbing or more yet than the release of this confidential patient information to the General public.

 As a Tax-payer a patient Advocate and Nurse whom has been affected so deeply by this issue I can not see the resolution of this case with the USG deciding to ignore evidence presented with as little as even a cursory review of the evidence. I ‘m sure that the recent outburst of news interest on the subject of Health Care Privacy and Fraudulent billing practices has brought closer public attention to this issue and failure to act wisely in the matter will be remembered by the taxpayers.

 Sir you are to take notice that such computer is still this date available on the Custody of court and that failure to consider this evidence for the people could be constructed as gross negligence by part of the State and its representatives. Govern yourself accordingly.
