Dear Mr. Proenza-Sanfiel:
This letter is in response to correspondence you directed to me several weeks ago. Please be advised that I am unable to provide you with any extraneous information regarding your complaint against Charter Hospital South, and I trust this is responsive to your inquiry.
During the course of the investigation against your license by the Medical Quality Assurance Unit of the Division of Health Quality Assurance of the AHCA, due consideration was given with respect to the potential accountability on the part of the hospital for breach of confidentiality. The investigation conducted by the Medical Quality Assurance personnel did not reveal any violation that necessitated a formal, separate on-site investigation against Charter Hospital South. The agency was satisfied that the patient records you discovered on the purchased computer were an inadvertent error and that corrective action was taken to ensure no further repeat event. Thus, the matter against the hospital was addressed and closed.
Thank you for sharing your concerns, and be assured of our vigilance to ensure that facilities are in compliance with State and Federal regulations through continual monitoring of our licensed facilities.

Here in a nutshell is what makes all of this case wrong. While I had no duty and responsibility to the patients other than my moral ethics the culpable party is referred to as an inadvertent act. Could there be some one in DOH and AHCA deep on somebody's pocket you figure it out. Actions speak louder than words. Do you hear any one shouting ?
